Arsenal fans have been left devastated by the news that Alexandre Lacazette is out until October.
The Frenchman sustained an ankle injury in the Gunners' last match against Tottenham Hotspur before the international break.
Whilst Hector Bellerin and Kieran Tierney are closing in on a return to full fitness, Unai Emery has been dealt with a blow at the opposite end of the field.
Arsenal confirmed the news with an injury update on their official website.
"After assessments to an ongoing ankle issue, we have advised that Alex will need to rest and strengthen his ankle to regain full fitness," the update read.
"Alex has been playing through this injury for several weeks. He is likely to be back in action in October."
Nicolas Pepe, Pierre-Emerick Aubamyeang and Lacazette all started against Spurs for the first time two weeks ago.
However, that dangerous trio, known as 'PAL' will have to wait a few weeks before reuniting on the field once again.
The Gunners take on Watford on Sunday, who will be keen to make an impression on their new boss Quiche Sanchez Flores.

Supporters were already fearful of the 'new manager bounce' after Javi Gracia was sacked over the International break but with news of Lacazette's injury, they're now even more afraid of a damaging result.
They took to social media to voice their upset at the striker's injury.
Here some of the best of their reactions from Twitter.
