Most Haunted event coming to Merseyside building 'alive with ghosts'

Fans of the paranormal will be able to join ghost hunting event Most Haunted in Merseyside this Halloween.

In the dead of night, only the bravest can join celebs from Most Haunted for a spot of ghost hunting in Southport.

Most Haunted LIVE will take place in Southport on Sunday, October 31.

Earlier this year, the Victorian era museum at Botanic Gardens in Southport reopened, after being closed for almost a decade.

The production company behind TV's Most Haunted say the building is "alive with ghosts" - and have since been running "ghost tours".

Many people are said to have reported seeing shadows and figures behind the windows of the empty building.

Noises are said to come from within, and the Most Haunted team say they have experienced the sound of children laughing in the "Dolls Room" and loud footsteps walking up the main stairs.

TV Location Manager Jenny Bryant has today announced people can join the team on Halloween.

She said: "There will be a Most Haunted Live on Halloween this year, with an audience, in Southport.

"We have been inundated with messages and emails on how people can get a ticket to this special night.

"We will be releasing a number of tickets which will go live from noon (15th Oct) on a first come first served basis.

"These tickets are free.

"To be in with a chance of attending please email info@mosthauntedexperience.com with your name.

"No other email address inboxes will be accepted neither will messages via social media or text/phone calls.

"Any emails received before noon tomorrow will not be accepted."
