Most experts picking Rams over Panthers in Week 1 matchup

The Carolina Panthers face a daunting task right out of the gate this season: they play the reigning NFC champion Los Angeles Rams at home Sunday.

As you might expect, most experts are picking the Rams to win. Here’s a quick review of who they’re picking.

ESPN: Rams

So far, six of eight members on ESPN’s panel have picked LA. Noted Rams fan Mina Kimes has yet to make her pick.

USA Today: Rams

The national writers for USA Today are almost all in on the Rams. Six of seven have picked LA.

CBS Sports: Panthers

Not everyone is on the LA bandwagon, though. Five of eight experts at CBS are picking Carolina to win this week.

Sporting News: Rams

Tadd Haislop at Sporting News has the Rams winning 35-28 in a shootout.

SB Nation: Rams

Seven out of 10 experts at SB Nation are predicting an LA victory, including Rosie the Good Rescue Dog.

NFL.com: Rams

Gregg Rosenthal says this is the toughest game of the week to pick. He’s still going with the Rams though, 28-27.
