Most accurate mock drafter gives Chargers instant help in trenches

Mock drafts are a fun exercise to slot different scenarios on how you think the draft will or should pan out. The majority of them never go the way they are actually laid out outside of the first couple selections.

However, there are a few people who actually excel at getting a large number of picks correct. One such person Rotoworld’s Evan Silva.

In 2018, Silva had the most accurate mock draft in the media, predicting 28 of the 32 players who were selected in Round 1. He got 10 players to the correct team in the first round, which was the most of anyone.

The bottomline is that when Silva puts out a mock draft, we should all pay attention. Silva tweeted his second mock draft of the year on Friday night.

Silva has the Chargers selecting a commonly mocked player in former Notre Dame defensive tackle Jerry Tillery. Tillery is set to travel to Los Angeles for a pre-draft official visit.

Throughout the process, the linking between Tillery and L.A. has gotten mixed reviews. Some people want him, while others don’t due to questionable decisions that he had early on in his collegiate career, as well as some questioning whether or not he actually loves football.

We’ve made it clear that Tillery would be the perfect fit for the Chargers at No. 28 overall. Even though there are those that believe he doesn’t have a clean slate and wouldn’t be good for the team, we made sure to debunk any of those concerns in regards to Tillery.

This would be a great way to kick off the first round.
