
The path leading to Ginzanjo Shrine is covered with brilliant green moss that can provide visitors a healing comfort in Tsushima, Nagasaki Prefecture.
Located in the middle of a Japanese cedar forest, the pathway leading up to the main shrine is about 100 meters long and about 2.5 meters wide.
Cloaked with a sense of stillness, the whole area exudes a very mysterious atmosphere.
"Many people familiar with the shrine call it 'Moss Shrine,'" a representative of the shrine said.
