Moshi Sette Q and Flekto review: The perfect wireless charging combination - but at a price

I’ve been testing two amazing new accessories from the stylish brand Moshi – called Sette Q and Flekto.

The former sports the soft grey fabric-wrapped design that it is the brand’s signature look.

It is a wide but thin charging station capable of wirelessly recharging two devices simultaneously at up to 15W each.

These could be two phones – which will suit tech reviewers, couples and anyone with both a work and personal phone — or you could charge a phone and a set of compatible wireless earphones.

Each wireless charging pad has a non-slip surface ring along the top to help you find the right position and keep everything in place.

Inside the device are two of Moshi's proprietary Q-coil modules, high-density ferrite sheets that maximise the amount of charging power and enable Sette Q to charge through cases up to 5mm thick.

A small USB-A port on the front of unit allows users to plug in a third device such as a portable battery to charge with a cable connection.

That port also works perfectly for the Flekto. This is an optional Apple Watch dock that plugs into the front of the Sette Q.

In fairness, it can be plugged in to any USB port and so has appeal as a standalone item too.

It is dubbed the world’s smallest Apple Watch charging station.

What I love about it most (apart from it being a great watch cradle) is that you can fold it up and take it anywhere.

The Sette Q is equally portable.

These are an excellent combination with the only downside being the high price.

But you won't find many wireless charging solutions that come in a more attractive and stylish looking package than this.

Pricing and availability

Sette Q costs €109.95 and Flekto costs €54.95, both from Moshi.com
