As reported on this site last year, Moschino’s cult logo belt is one of the most counterfeited items in fashion. Experts reckon over three-quarters of the belts in circulation are fake, most of which can be found on auction sites and definitely not on Net-A-Porter which has just launched its ready-to-wear capsule collection, which includes some Barbies, some bags and the belt.
No doubt, the £155 Olivia is likely to fly. With black patent leather and branded gold letters, it’s voguish in that overtly-branded, 1990s-referencing/parodying way. Here it is hoiking up a pair of white Liz Hurley jeans so, 2000s-referencing too, apparently. We also like the other belt, lettered bumbag or this completely impractical iPhone cover. Note: with this belt, if you have a leather puncher, it can be shortened into a choker. Bang for your buck.
