Morton v East Kilbride Premier Cup clash in doubt amid Covid confusion

East Kilbride's Premier Sports Cup clash at Morton tomorrow night is in doubt, after the Cappielow club were forced to forfeit their opener to Stranraer on Saturday following a Covid outbreak.

The Championship club have suspended ticket sales for the clash against Stevie Aitken's Lowland League favourites "while we discuss with the SPFL whether the game can go ahead", promising supporters they would update them when they could.

Morton revealed 'multiple' cases in their camp, which led to Stranraer being awarded a default 3-0 win on Saturday, but the Greenock club said they hope their meeting with East Kilbride will still go ahead.
