Mortgage firm on track for national expansion with new recruits

A mortgage company founded as a sole person business in 2014 has grown to serve a national client base.

My Simple Mortgage, based in Stoke-on-Trent, has introduced new financial advisers in London, Leeds, Newcastle-upon-Tyne and Edinburgh, so far in 2021 – with further team members in North Staffordshire and Manchester to go live soon.

Director and founder James Adams said: "We've continued to grow our team during the pandemic and put our success down to making mortgages easy for customers – it’s all in our name.

"There's a lot of work that goes into making mortgages simple, but we’re always looking to streamline the process and see it as one of the keys to growth.

"We now have a network of mortgage advisers and a national business reach."

Kelly Greatholder has recently joined the North Staffordshire office as a mortgage and protection consultant, while John Cawley has joined in the same role in Leeds.

Self-employed consultant Cass Elliss has teamed up with My Simple Mortgage in Essex.

James, who runs the business with fellow director Mark Savill, said that the company now has a team of eight with an ability to work anywhere in the UK.

He added: "We've grown a reputation for customer service and clever use of technology and that's getting us noticed. As a result, we are now expanding our network of self-employed consultants, such as Cass covering South East England."
