Morrissey refuses to change the record

The terminally disgruntled Morrissey has taken aim at not one, but two British institutions in his latest diatribe. After describing the royal family as "benefit scroungers" who "serve no purpose whatsoever" on BBC Radio 4's Front Row programme last week, the sulky Smiths star took to his own website to accuse the BBC of "Iranian censorship" for having "chopped and cropped" the interview, and thus "confiscated" his opinions. All this public bellyaching – it's almost like he's got a new album out.
