Since the coronavirus lockdown started it has been extremely difficult to book a home delivery for groceries.
Supermarket online shopping sites have 30 minute waits even before you can log-in to book your delivery which then won't arrive for weeks.
But now thanks to Morrisons and Deliveroo joining forces, shoppers will be able to get their order in just 30 minutes.
This is going to make a huge difference to people in self-isolation who are unable to leave their home.
Customers can pick from a range of around 70 items, including meat, fruit and vegetables and cupboard essentials.
Launched today (Wednesday), the impressive new service will be available from more than 130 Morrisons stores.
However, you will need to be signed up to the Deliveroo website and order your food from there. It will cost you £4.50, plus a service charge which can vary from area to area.
Morrisons Chief Executive David Potts said: “Our partnership with Deliveroo will help us to continue to play our full part in feeding the nation. Customers will be able to order essential products from Morrisons biked by Deliveroo to the door in as little as 30 minutes.
"It’s a great combination of traditional and modern methods and it will provide more vulnerable people with the opportunity to receive their home delivery.”
While Ajay Lakhwani, Vice President of New Business, Deliveroo said during this 'worrying period' the firm wanted to play its role in helping.
He said: "With families and vulnerable people in isolation, it is more important than ever that we make sure they have access to the essential household items they need."
