Speaking to the ECHO, Atlanta said that it was nice to know people other than students are thinking about the struggles they face.
She said: "It really did make my day that it's not only students that realise how bad it is for us so it was really nice to know that other people know how bad it is.
"It was a load of vouchers as well, it wasn't just one. It was just really nice."
Atlanta, who works in hospitality through an agency, said it's difficult to manage money when she doesn't always know when she's going to be working. She described the current climate for students as "terrible" due to the cost of living crisis.
She added: "I have to do more and more work on top of studying and volunteering. It all comes down to the cost of the absolute basics going up."
