Morrisons, Marks and Spencer and Waitrose have all recalled a variety of products due to fears of allergens as well as plastic.
Chocolate brand Lindor have also recalled one of their products due to gluten (wheat) being present in their product and causing a potential risk to anyone with an intolerance or those with Coeliac Disease.
Morrisons are among the shops recalling with one of their frozen products for being a health hazard as it "may contain small pieces of plastic" and thus making it unsuitable for consumption.
So which products have been recalled and why?
- Waitrose
Product: Belgian Dark Chocolate with Raisins and Almonds
Pack size: 180g
Best Before: November 2022
Reason for recall: Allergen, Nuts (hazelnut). This product contains nuts making it a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy.
Waitrose & Partners is recalling the above product from customers. The company has also issued a point-of-sale notice to its customers with people being urged to return it to the store they bought it from for a full refund.

Product: M&S 20 Cocktail Sausage Rolls
Pack size: 296g
Best Before: January 10 2022
Reason for recall: The affected product has been labelled with incorrect ’use by” date of 10 January 2022 and may be unsafe to eat.
Marks & Spencer is recalling the above product. Point of sale notices will be displayed in all retail stores that are selling this product and customers are urged to return it to the store they bought it from for a full refund.

Product: Lindt LINDOR Salted Caramel Milk Chocolate Bars
Pack size: 38g
Best Before: June 2022
Reason for recall: Allergens, Gluten (wheat). This product contains wheat (gluten) making it a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to wheat or gluten.
Lindt & Sprüngli (UK) Ltd is recalling the above product from customers. The company has also issued a point-of-sale notice to its customers.
