With Christmas sandwich season in full swing, Morrisons has added a new mince pie sandwich to its delicious festive range.
The Wensleydale & Spiced Fruit Chutney sandwich combines two Christmas classics: mince pies and cheese.
Inside a panettone style bread roll, the festive lunch is packed with creamy cheddar, crumbly Wensleydale and mince pie chutney - run, don't walk.
Costing £3, the unusual Christmas sarnie is available at supermarkets from October 28 until December 24.
The lunchtime treat can be enjoyed as part of the Morrisons meal deal offer - which allows hungry shoppers to bag a Food To Go main, snack and drink for just £3.50.
Richard Jones, Food to Go Buyer at Morrisons, said: “We’ve upped our Christmas sarnie game this year to offer something completely new for customers."
The mince pie sandwich joins the supermarket's recently launched Christmas range for 2019 - which includes Christmas tree crisps and duck waffles.
Earlier this month, Morrisons also brought back its £3 Yorkshire pudding wrapped Christmas sandwich .
