Morrisons is launching a limited edition daredevil pack of hellfire chicken wings that come with a 'six chilli' rating' in time for Halloween.
The hellfire wing are coated in a fiery spice blend using three of the world’s hottest chillies – Carolina Reaper, Trinidad Scorpion and Naga Ghost - perfect for anyone looking to spice up their Halloween party.
They are so hot that the supermarket chains food makers have given them the highest rating available, a 'six chilli rating', and only the bravest of customers should try them.
The Carolina Reaper is known as the worlds hottest chilli according to the Guinness Book of World Records and is around 450 times hotter than a jalapeño pepper.
When combined with Trinidad Scorpion and Naga Ghost chillies, in a powder coating, these Morrisons wings have a combined mind-boggling and tongue-numbing Scoville rating of 1,463,700 units.
Campbell Breakwell, Buying Manager at Morrisons, said: “Listening to customers, we know they love our extra spicy creations. From mega hot curries to spicy sausages, our challenge this year was to find a way to recreate that mega-heat that our customers are after but in something different. These new chicken wings are set to blow customers’ socks off; they genuinely pack quite a punch!”
If you can handle more heat, then you'll be happy to know that the supermarket chain has also launched a roulette frozen pizza to get spice lovers’ taste buds tingling.
Topped with double pepperoni and a hidden splash of extra hot chilli sauce, customers are being encouraged to share with friends if they dare being left with the extra hot slice.
In addition, Morrisons has also reintroduced their popular hellfire sausages for those looking to really ramp up the heat. With their hottest recipe yet, they have been expertly blended with Morrisons 100 per cent British ‘The Best’ sausage meat to create the ultimate hair-raising banger.
If you're not a fan of the heat, then don't worry, as Morrisons has also launched a limited edition Dirt ‘n’ Worms Pizza which is topped with squidgy chocolate soil cookie dough, chocolate chunks and strawberry worms and priced at just £2.89
The hellfire chicken wings will be available in Morrisons stores this week and the hellfire sausages are currently on store shelves.
