Morrisons is selling heart-shaped doughnuts in time for Valentine's Day

If you're bored of giving chocolates and flowers on Valentine's Day, then Morrisons might just have the perfect solution.

The supermarket is helping shoppers celebrate the most romantic day of the year with heart-shaped doughnuts.

Each is packed with delicious raspberry jam and finished with a dusting of sweet icing sugar, perfect for adding a special touch on February 14th.

Hungry shoppers can buy a pack of two for just £1 at supermarkets nationwide. You can find your nearest Morrisons branch using the online store finder.

Whether you share one with your partner or your best friend, they are sure to put a smile on anyone's face this Valentine's Day.

The new heart-shaped treats are cheaper than Morrisons' regular jam-filled doughnuts - which are priced at £1.65 each, so you'll be paying slightly less.

Meanwhile, Asda's jam doughnuts are sold in a pack of five for 79p, while Tesco's jammy treats are just 30p each.

But Morrisons isn't the only retailer offering heart-shaped treats for the romantic holiday.

Asda is now selling heart-shaped sausages in stores nationwide and online, but they're only be available until March.

Looking for a romantic gift with a twist? - and they're (almost) too pretty to eat.
