Morrisons is selling a chocolate pizza for Easter and shoppers love it

Just in time for Easter, Morrisons has launched a brand new chocolate pizza that's topped with mini eggs.

The supermarket chain is selling the 10" stone baked Easter pizza for £2.89, perfect for sweet-toothed customers who are looking for an affordable alternative to an Easter egg.

Those wanting to try the 10" Stonebaked Easter Pizza can get their hands on one from Morrisons supermarkets across the UK. To find out your nearest Morrisons and its opening hours, you can use the online store finder tool here.

The traditional pizza base is topped with cream cheese, chocolate chips, cookie dough and mini eggs.

At less than £3, it's a perfect budget-friendly Easter treat and is big enough to share between a few people - but we won't judge if you devour it all by yourself.

Many shoppers are impressed with the chocolate-covered pizza and have been raving about it on social media.

A post by Hotukdeals has been liked nearly 4,000 times, with one person saying: "I don’t eat cheese, and when I was at school we made pizza so I literally did this. It works so a big fat yes from me xx."

Another impressed shopper added: "We had one of these this evening, quite rich but really really nice flavours."

However, some shoppers aren't too keen on the unusual treat.

One person said: "People say pineapple doesn't belong on a pizza, then some lunatic creates this monstrosity!"

While someone else commented: "I don't mind a chocolate pizza but that looks completely random."

The chocolate pizza isn't the only impressive Easter treat available at Morrisons this year. From lemon drizzle hot cross buns to luxury chocolate eggs, the supermarket has already launched its Easter 2021 range - and it all looks amazing.

Morrisons recently announced it will donating 100,000 chocolate eggs to local food banks and community groups over the Easter holidays.
