If you're after a lazy Valentine's Day treat, Morrisons has launched a bargain meal for two - and it costs just a tenner.
The supermarket said it's opening its café to couples looking to avoid crammed restaurants this Friday - with the ultimate slap up fish and chip supper for two for £10.
Prepared by Morrisons Café Chefs, the feast includes two hand-battered fish, chips, peas and tartare sauce, two portions of bread and butter and two pots of tea on the side.
And for those looking to push the boat out for their nearest and dearest - there’s the option to upgrade to a large fish and chips for just £1 extra.
With Valentine’s Day landing on Fish Friday, Morrisons hopes loved-up diners will opt for the nation’s favourite meal, according to a recent survey by P&G.
Danny Clee, Morrisons Café buying manager said: "With Valentine’s falling on a Friday it made sense to offer our customers the ultimate fish and chips at a price they’ll love too."
And the love doesn't need to end there, as early risers can share the love with two freshly buttered heart crumpets or an afternoon Valentine’s cupcake from Morrisons Market Street Cake Shop - for £1.
The meal for two will be available from 10 to 16 February at all 401 Morrisons cafés nationwide.
The £10 deal includes two fish and chips, with mushy peas and tartare sauce, two portions of bread and butter and two pots of tea.
