Morrisons has launched a delicious Jaffa Cake doughnut with an orange filling

Jaffa Cakes are loved by many and most of us would say nothing could improve the sweet treat.

But Morrisons has found a way to make us want to eat even more of the orange flavoured snacks.

The supermarket has combined Jaffa Cakes with another sweet favourite - the doughnut.

The Jaffa Cake doughnut is being sold in stores in a three-pack for just £1.50 and shoppers on social media have been going wild for them, reports MirrorOnline.

Iced in the supermarket bakeries, the doughnut is comprised of a chocolate glazed doughnut with a orange filling, that's topped with a whole Jaffa Cake.

Morrisons announced the release of the doughnut in a post on Facebook writing: "What's better than a delicious Jaffa Cake? One with a Jaffa doughnut attached."

More than 3,400 people have commented on the post, with many proclaiming that they "need" to try the tasty snack.

One person was so keen they'd already gone down and bought some, saying: "Have to say they taste amazing! Definitely one of the best doughnuts I've ever had.

"I'll be buying more for sure!"

Someone else commented: "I love them."

This news comes after Morrisons launched a new white chocolate hazelnut spread.

The White Chocolate Hazelnut Spread is priced at £2.50 and is one of the retailer's delicious new flavour infusions - which also includes Chocolate Caramel.

The sweet condiment has already been a hit on social media, with Instagram user @frukgram commenting "Hold the phone. @morrisons dropping WHITE CHOCOLATE HAZELNUT SPREAD’" and @newfoodsuk adding that it tastes like "the inside of a Kinder Bueno."

The spread is only available to purchase in store, but is expected to be available to order online soon.

Simon Metcalfe, Chocolate Spread Buyer at Morrisons said: "This is a delicious new flavour and it’s great to see customers enjoying it.”
