Morrisons unveil Easter 2021 range with lemon drizzle hot cross buns and luxury chocolate eggs

Morrisons has unveiled its entire Easter range for 2021 and we’ve taken a look at what shoppers can expect this spring.

As Easter Sunday gets closer, the supermarket has revealed two new hot cross bun options: The Best Lemon Drizzle Hot Cross Buns and The Best Double Chocolate & Salted Caramel Hot Cross Buns, which are being sold alongside Morrisons' Very Berry and Free From Hot Cross Buns in stores and online. Both are available in packs of four for £1.

For those wanting to try something a bit different this Easter, Morrisons has also launched Mocha Hot Cross Buns, Lemon Doughnuts and Mini Egg Easter Doughnuts. These can be found at the bakery counters in stores nationwide.

As for Easter Eggs, chocolate fans can choose from a huge selection that includes the Belgian dark chocolate and hazelnut Easter egg, Belgian white chocolate and raspberry Easter egg and Belgian milk chocolate and caramel Easter egg - all priced at £5 each.

There’s also the extremely indulgent The Best Gold Lustre Easter Egg (£8) and a gluten free and vegan Truffle Egg, dipped in crisp honeycomb and with salted caramel truffles. Meanwhile, little ones can keep busy with the Easter egg hunt kit (£4).

If you need something to wash down your Easter lunch, Morrisons has slashed the price of several wines and spirits to help you enjoy your spring celebrations for less.

These include the Adrien Chopin Brut Champagne - down from £18 to £15 - and The Best Cahors Malbec to pair with lamb (£6, was £8).

Shoppers can also pick up Taylor’s Late Bottled Vintage Port, which is now reduced from £15 to £10, to enjoy alongside sweet treats.
