- Morrisons has issued an urgent recall for several batches of its Savers Cashews due to fears the packs may contain pieces of glass.
- The affected products are 125g packages with specific best-by dates: 9 August 2026, 6 September 2026, 26 September 2026, 28 September 2026, and 9 October 2026.
- The Food Standards Agency (FSA) issued the recall and said the product may be “unsafe to eat”.
- Customers who have purchased these cashews are advised not to consume them and to return them to Morrisons stores for a full refund.
- Morrisons has apologised for the inconvenience, assuring customers of their “continuing commitment to the highest standard of product quality and safety”.
