In a bid to shake up your lunchtime, Morrisons is launching a new sandwich option.
But the sarnie in question will no doubt divide opinion...
As part of the supermarket's expansion of its Food to Go offering, the chain has unveiled a new Bratwurst & Sauerkraut sandwich. Yeah, we're not completely convinced either.
The limited edition sandwich comes with all the traditional ingredients including onion bread, beef & pork sausage, sauerkraut and mustard as well as the welcomed addition of crispy fried onion, mayo and onion chutney.
Hungry customers can pick up the sandwich from their local Morrisons branch for £2.40 (on its own) until 4 August, or as part of the normal £3.50 deal which includes a main, snack and drink.
Morrisons has revealed the new lunchtime flavour is the result of customer demand, with shoppers requesting more adventurous, street-food inspired sandwiches in their meal deals.

The chain has answered those shoppers prayers with the arrival of the Bratwurst & Sauerkraut sandwich, inspired by the popularity of the traditional German food market fare that is gaining traction across the UK.
Rob Gallagher, Food to Go Buyer at Morrisons said: “We’re looking for ways to make lunch more exciting. Customers tell us they’re looking for adventurous sandwich fillings inspired by international cuisine - which is why we’ve developed our Bratwurst sandwich.”
