Morris twins sign with Roc Nation after mutual parting with Klutch Sports

After former Boston Celtics and current New York Knicks forward Marcus Morris had one of the most bizarre free agency periods in the league this past July, Klutch Sports parted ways with the both he and his brother Markieff.

The loss of the Morris brothers was the only notable loss to the Klutch roster on an otherwise momentous summer of contracts and moves for Klutch, even though Marcus Morris tried to clean things up by insisting that Rich Paul actually encouraged him to take a $41 million deal that he eventually didn’t take and was unable to match elsewhere in the market. It appears that both sides thought it was best to part ways. And after a few months of mystery, now we know where the Morris twins have landed.

Roc Nation Sports, who represents Brooklyn’s Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant, announced the twins joining their roster on Wednesday afternoon

Marcus Morris signed a 1-year, $15 million deal this summer with the Knicks while brother Markieff signed a one-year, $6.5 million contract with the Detroit Pistons. With both hitting the market in what’s expected to be a very shallow free agent class when it comes to star power, the twins may be able to take advantage of the market.
