Cosmetics company Morphe has removed Shane Dawson's Conspiracy Collection with Jeffree Star Cosmetics from its website, leading many fans to believe that the current scandal surrounding Shane has led to the decision.
Sanders Kennedy, a YouTube drama channel tweeted about the removal, although Morphe have yet to confirm whether it is because of recent events.
However, the rest of the Jeffree Star collection is still on their website.
The scandal began when Shane released a statement on Twitter announcing he was quitting the beauty industry, comparing it to a "circus", calling beauty gurus "attention seeking, game playing, egocentric, narcissistic, vengeful, two-faced, ticking time bombs".
Following the statement, Shane was accused of racism for the use of blackface in previous videos, in which he wore dark make-up to impersonate black celebrities such as Wendy Williams and Chris Brown.
As well being called out for jokes about bestiality and mocking people with disabilities, Dawson was also publicly called out by Jada Pinkett-Smith and her son Jaden after a clip resurfaced of the YouTuber looking at a poster of a then-11-year-old Willow Smith and appearing to pretend to masturbate.
Pinkett-Smith tweeted: “To Shane Dawson ... I’m done with the excuses.”
Shane then tweeted: “I deleted everything. I’m done. For those who wanted me to 'address it' I did. I’m sure u can find it reposted somewhere. But I don’t want this energy in my life or on my timeline. I’m too sensitive for this s**t and I’m done.”
However, a week later, Dawson posted an emotional 20-minute apology video called Taking Accountability in which he apologised for the “hurt” caused by his old videos.
Since then, fellow beauty YouTuber Tati Westbrook has made a video calling out Jeffree Star and Shane Dawson, accusing them of "using" her in a plot to destroy James Charles’ career by 'manipulating' her into making a video exposing his alleged predatory behaviour.
