The CEO of the Moroccan Airports Authority, Zuhair Mohamed El Aoufir, and the Middle East & North Africa Business Aviation Association (MEBAA) Board Member, Ali Ahmed Alnaqbi, at a presser held in Marrakesh, confirmed the willingness for both organizations to develop the MEBAA Show Morocco.
The expo, held every two years, brings together businesses and professionals and opens up the opportunity to discover the latest technologies and updates within the aviation industry.
MEBAA’s Alnaqbi, who was speaking at a press conference dedicated to the third edition of the exhibition scheduled for September 25 and 26, voiced the organizers’ ambitions for developing the Marrakech exhibition so that it matches the shine of the one held in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates.
Alnaqbi also reviewed a number of data and figures related to the upcoming session of the MEBAA Show in Marrakech, saying that over 3,000 visitors are expected to show up from all over the world and witness the participation of more than 100 exhibitors presenting the latest innovations and services.
For his part, El Aoufir reviewed the prospects of the aviation sector in Morocco, focusing on business aviation, highlighting sector growth in terms of mobility and organization. He noted the promising development potential for Morocco’s aviation industry, given that it alone accounts for 50% of the private flying services in North Africa.
According to officials, the business aviation sector in Morocco has a promising development potential due to its geographical location and the economic dynamic it has established. Morocco aviation industry has been witnessing continuous growth in recent years due to an influx of foreign investors as well as the African state’s ability to offer high-quality airport facilities.
