Desperate provocations made by Polisario Front separatists in the zone located east of the defense structure “put them in confrontation not only with Morocco but also the United Nations,” minister delegate for relations with parliament and civil society and government spokesperson Mustapha El Khalfi said on Thursday.
Answering a question at a press briefing after the weekly cabinet meeting in Rabat on Polisario's provocations at the start of the 11th "Africa Eco Race" international rally, Khalfi said that the UN Security Council has been very clear in its resolutions by underlining that such behaviors are a provocation and a threat to stability in the region.
He said Polisario's actions are nothing but desperate provocations that put the separatists in confrontation with the Security Council resolutions, adding that “Morocco will remain steadfast as it has always been since the enforcement of the ceasefire in the early 1990s.”
