Residents of Santry woke up to a morning of chaos as a gang wreaked havoc with three incidents being reported in the span of just a few hours.
A Burnside resident warned locals to keep an eye out after catching two "aggressive" men trying to rob her moped and bikes at 4.30 am.
Another local reported an attempted break-in at a house just down the road in Magenta Hall at 5 am. She said the robbers tried to gain entry through the hall door.
Additionally, gardai were called after vandals damaged a car in the nearby Schoolhouse Lane area around 9 am.
A garda spokesman said: "Criminal damage of car in Schoolhouse Lane, Santry, reported at approximately 9:00 am this morning 5th July 2021. No items believed to be taken from the car.
"No other reports on a burglary or additional incidents of theft for this area."
