Morning commuters facing extended travel times

Traffic slowed to a crawl for drivers on their morning commute on Wednesday following a crash in Fyshwick.

Drivers travelling towards the city from Queanbeyan experienced extended commute times and were encouraged to avoid the area.

The motor vehicle crash occurred on Tom Price Street just after 8.30am.

ACT fire and ambulance services were on scene shortly after.

The accident has since been cleared and traffic is moving steadily again.

A crash was also reported on the Parkes Way on-ramp and has since been cleared.

Emergency services attended the Parkes accident about 8.30am this morning. Traffic has now been cleared.
