Morning-after pill to be handed out for free. What you need to know

The morning-after pill will be available for free at pharmacies across England.
Currently, it's free at GPs and Sexual Health clinics, but can cost up to £30 at pharmacies.
The move aims to eliminate the "unfair postcode lottery" in accessing emergency contraception.
Health Minister Stephen Kinnock emphasized ensuring women's access to essential healthcare regardless of location or financial status.
This decision follows experts' calls to make the contraceptive more widely accessible, including in supermarkets and petrol stations, to empower women and remove barriers to essential healthcare.
