Historic Worcestershire car maker the Malvern Motor Company has revealed it will be unveiling an all-new model.
The Malvern-based company will take the wraps off the new vehicle at the Geneva International Motor Show next week.
A statement announcing the unveiling at the annual Swiss motor show revealed some details about the new car.
The new model will be based on the Morgan Motor Company’s CX-Generation aluminium platform, feature a four cylinder engine and offer the option of a manual transmission.
A Morgan spokesman said: “With just a week until the Geneva International Motor Show 2020, Morgan Motor Company confirm that they will be launching an all-new model at the show.
“Based on their CX-Generation aluminium platform, the latest model features a four cylinder engine and the option of a manual transmission.”
Morgan will unveil the new vehicle at a press conference on its stand at Geneva on March 3 at 1.30pm.
Morgan is continuing to grow internationally after foreign investors took a majority stake in the company in March last year.
The company sold a majority stake to Italian firm Investindustrial, ending more than 100 years in the sole ownership of the Morgan family.
Investindustrial has also backed big names such as Warwickshire-based car maker Aston Martin and motorbike brand Ducati.
Speaking at the time of the 2019 acquisition Andrea Bonomi, chairman of Investindustrial’s industrial advisory board, said: “We have followed the company and seen its progress for some time and see significant potential for Morgan to develop internationally while retaining its hand-built heritage which is at the heart of the Morgan Motor Company.”
