Morgan, Oh win Australian PGA, WPGA titles

Jed Morgan has scored an 11-shot win in the Australian PGA Championship. (AAP)

Jed Morgan has dominated the Australian PGA Championship to win by a record 11 shots, while Su Oh broke a seven-year title drought to claim the maiden Australian WPGA Championship.

The pair played alongside each other on Sunday at Brisbane's Royal Queensland GC, Oh (10-under) prevailed in a see-sawing battle with Grace Kim (six-under).

Andrew Dodt (11-under) was runner-up in the men's tournament, a stroke ahead of Louis Dobbelaar.

Morgan's 22-under equalled the lowest-to-par score since the tournament moved to stroke-play in 1964, while the gap to second bettered the eight set by Greg Norman twice in his 1984 and 1985 wins.

The combined spectacle, which attracted large galleries despite the absence of any US-based stars, was the first major golf event staged in Australia for more than two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
