More videos have emerged of people being sprayed with a white powder from a car in Swansea

More videos have appeared online of people being sprayed with a white powder from a car in Swansea .

A video initially emerged online showing two people getting the substance sprayed in their faces after a car pulled over to ask for directions.

In the footage a man inside the car asks the pair if they know where a specific street is before the powder is fired directly at them as they lean closer to try to help.

More videos showing similar incidents have since emerged online with men pulling up in a car and once again asking for directions to places such as Domino's, and The Cricketers.

One Swansea University student, who did not want to be named, described how the white powder, which he believed came from a fire extinguisher, coated his mouth and throat making it "hard to breathe or swallow".

Suspected street robbery in Swansea leaves man in hospital with head injuries

He was walking home through Brynmill in the early hours of Saturday morning when the car stopped next to him and another person on King Edward's Road.

"As we turned to face them and began to talk they fired what I believe to be a fire extinguisher at our faces covering us in white powder which caused our eyes to sting and a lot of coughing to get it out of our lungs," he said.

"The immediate reaction from the person with me was the need to vomit for over an hour as it almost seemed to coat our mouths, throats and lungs, making it hard to breathe or swallow.

"I also experienced a weird discharge from my ear. I was the closest at the time and turned my head to avoid any more of it getting on my face, probably resulting in my left ear taking some of the blast."

Swansea University and the university's students' union both said they had not received any reports from students about the incidents.

South Wales Police have been approached for comment by WalesOnline.
