
Saudi Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs has removed encroachments at government lands in different regions and provinces in the kingdom, within its keenness to play its supervisory role. The ministry stressed that the aggressors will be dealt with strictly.
Encroaches on more than 9 million square meters were removed in a number of regions and provinces during the past week, revealed the ministry. In Taif, the ministry has regained more than 8 million square meters.
In this context, Jeddah Municipality has revealed restoring around 19,000 square meters at Jeddah Corniche, affirming that it is working on removing Al Salam Marina with a space of 13,000 square meters after the conclusion of investment contracts of these sites.
Asir municipality announced restoring encroachments that exceed 162,000 square meters – the municipality added that the recently removed encroachments were represented in building fences and irregular housing rooms without construction licenses.
Further, Dhahran municipality has taken out a space that exceeds 9,000 square meters of government lands.
Ahad Rafidah municipality, in cooperation with security and government bodies, has removed some encroaches at a government land of a space of 10,000 square meters. Encroachments were represented in building fences and irregular housing rooms without construction licenses.
These efforts fall under the keenness of the ministry to apply regulations and instructions in the matter of government lands.
