More than 60 people were charged with driving offences on Canberra roads during the October long weekend.
Police figures have shown 19 drivers were charged with drink driving or drug driving between October 4 and October 7.
More than 40 drivers were issued with traffic infringement notices in the four-day period, police say.
An ACT police spokesman told The Canberra Times there were no drivers booked for excessive speeding on ACT roads.
"Overall, ACT Policing was happy with the behaviour of motorists in the Canberra region over the Labour Day long weekend," the spokesman said.
"There were no fatalities in the ACT."
The long weekend also saw double demerits in place across the ACT.
Over the border in NSW, six drivers died on the state's roads during the long weekend.
Across the state, more than 4700 drivers were booked for speeding and more than 191,000 people were breath tested, of those 222 were charged with drink-driving offences.
In the southern region for NSW police, which takes in the south coast, Snowy Mountains, Goulburn and Queanbeyan, three people died on the road over the long-weekend period.
Almost 1000 speeding offences were handed out to drivers, 40 charged with drink driving, with police responding to 50 major crashes.
