More than 330 Irish houses to be auctioned off next week with an average price of €295,000

130 vacant houses across the country will be auctioned off next week.

Property company BidX1 will auction more than 330 properties through its online platform next week.

The upcoming sale is expected to see over €60 million worth of Irish property auctioned within two days.

Head of Property at BidX1 Jonathan Fenn said the initial asking prices in the catalogue is €63 million.

“We offer a number of different sale methods, but our digital auctions remain one of the most popular. It’s a very efficient and transparent method of selling, with huge momentum building up to the day itself.

“A very wide range of properties will be offered, from family homes in sought-after Dublin suburbs to coastal land with stunning views over Tremone Bay in Donegal, and even a former church,” he said.

In total, more than 280 across the country will be offered at the auction, and 130 of those are currently vacant.

All 26 counties are represented in the catalogue, with 88 properties in Dublin will be offered.

Almost half of those are vacant houses, with an average guide price of €295,000.
