More than 340,000 have said they will ‘attend’ a joke Christmas Rave at Downing Street amid the festive party scandal that has rocked the Boris Johnson's leadership in recent days.
The Facebook event, which has been set up by Scottish DJ Jon Mancini, has attracted hundreds of thousands of punters that have said that they are interested or going.
The “Christmas Rave” has been pencilled in to ‘take place’ on Friday, December 24 at 6pm.
A description of the event has Boris Johnson ‘and chums’ leading the “massive rave”. It adds that social distancing is not required and attendees can bring whoever they like.

There is also a call for guests to bring their “own nibbles and drink”.
A total of 343,000 has said that they are going to the event and a further 512,000 have declared interest in the event.
Adding a post to the page, Jon Mancini joked: “Right needing a playlist for this event. Hit me with those floorfillers.”
Thousands of people responded with songs such as ‘It Wasn’t Me’ by Shaggy, ‘Tell Me Lies’ by Fleetwood Mac and ‘Don’t Lie’ by The Black Eyed Peas.

The hilarious viral event came after claims that a boozy Christmas party was held at Downing Street while London was plunged into lockdown during the festive period last year.
Boris Johnson claimed that he has been 'assured repeatedly’ that no party took place and no Covid rules were broken.
New footage emerged on Tuesday that appeared to show Downing Street staff making light of the event during a mock press briefing - which was held just days after the alleged party took place.
The Prime Minister’s former press secretary Allegra Stratton joked about a “business meeting” in which there was “definitely no social distancing”.

Officials could be heard in the background laughing about “cheese and wine” as staff in the 9 Downing Street press room could be heard pretending to ask questions about a party.
Johnson said that he was ‘furious’ about the footage and announced an investigation into the incident.
Allegra Stratton confirmed her resignation from her position as COP26 spokesperson as she issued a tearful statement outside of her home yesterday.
Labour leader Keir Starmer urged the Prime Minister to admit what happened last year after he was ‘caught red handed’.
SNP’s Westminster leader Ian Blackford called for Johnson to resign.
There have also been additional accusations of gatherings held during this period, including one which allegedly took place inside Boris Johnson’s flat. The Prime Minister has denied this.
