CHICAGO _ More than 30 cars were set on fire early Monday morning on the Far South Side in what police are investigating as arson.

The fires broke out in two locations, police said. Around midnight, someone entered a fenced lot in the 300 block of E. 115th Street and set fire to eight vehicles.

Around 12:40 a.m., a second fire started in a tow yard in the 8800 block of South Genoa Avenue, burning 20-30 vehicles, according to police.

No injuries were reported and no one was in custody.
