More than 100 lifesize superheroes, unicorns and dinosaurs at Nottinghamshire park

You never know who you might bump into in a Nottinghamshire park this summer on a socially distanced woodland adventure trail for all the family.

With more families enjoying the great outdoors, it makes going for a walk far more interesting for younger members of the family when they might meet a unicorn, dinosaur or a superhero along the way.

More than 100 lifesize models can be found nestling amongst the trees at Rufford Abbey Country Park, near Ollerton.

The woodland has been transformed to create a Totally Roarsome trip out. Wanderers will find dinosaurs in Jurassic Land and lions and tigers in the jungle. Then it's onto a bear hunt, a trip through the Wild West and Alice's Wonderland.

Pirates are everywhere you turn in Neverland but never fear, the world of superheroes is next up, with Batman, Superman and Spiderman set to save the world.

Finally, wander through fantasy land with dragons, unicorns and knights of the realm.

The trail will run throughout the summer until September 5. Entry times will be staggered to help families keep to social distancing rules.

Tickets must be pre-booked. Dogs are not allowed due to the natural wildlife. Tickets are £7.95. Under twos go free. The trail takes around an hour of complete.
