More than 100 homes in Staple Hill, Longwell Green, Warmley and Emersons Green are currently without power, according to Western Power Distribution.
A 'low voltage incident' was reported in the area in the early hours of this morning, and 110 properties are currently without power.
The incident is smaller and more localised than a 'high voltage incident' that tends to affect larger and wider areas.
The following postcodes are currently affected by the power cut. These include BS15 4XD, BS15 4XH, BS16 4SS, BS15 4XJ, BS15 4GY, BS15 4UQ, BS15 4XB, BS15 4XE, BS15 4XL.
Western Power Distribution hopes to have power back up by 10am today.
As at 10.30am, Western Power Distribution has said the power is not expected to be back up until 12noon.
