More than 100 cannabis plants found in Mangotsfield raid

More than 100 cannabis plants were found in an underground location during a police raid in Mangotsfield yesterday (April 5).

Officers from Staple Hill executed a warrant in Long Road, which led to the discovery of dozens of mature plants growing in a 'professional' set up.

Pictures shared by Avon and Somerset Constabulary show a large number of the plants growing under specialist lamps, in what appears to be a basement.

The force has confirmed two people are assisting with enquiries into the find.

An eyewitness reported three police cars in the area.
