More success for Stewartry Gymnastics Club at beginners competition in Dunfermline

Stewartry Gymnastics Club enjoyed another successful weekend, this time at the beginners floor and vault competition in Dumfermline organised by Fife Gymnastics Network.

The girls had a brilliant day, all presenting very consistent and polished routines. The club came home with a fantastic haul of awards.

In the age six/seven category, Freya was awarded a bronze medal for her lovely vault work. In the age 12+ category, Georgi had a very successful competition picking up a fifth place ribbon for her floor, a fourth place ribbon for her vault and a fourth place ribbon overall.

The age eight/nine girls pulled together as a team to take the bronze medal in the largest category of the day. The age 10/11 team were able to take the silver medal with their fantastic performances. 10/11 gymnast Cate was the star of the day as she managed to pick up a silver for floor, silver for vault and silver overall.

The team are looking forward to a few more events before the year is over.

Coaches are delighted with the progress the club has been making in its short time taking part in competitions.
