'More signings than Man United' - Leeds United fans go nuts as Rodrigo transfer 'agreed'

Fans have been having their say on Leeds United nearing a deal for Rodrigo.

The Whites have acted quickly after reports broke this morning that they were in negotiations with Valencia for a deal for the attacker.

With Valencia in financial difficulties, Leeds are said to have agreed a deal of €30m plus add-ons for the 29-year-old in order to bolster their attack.

It is news that has grabbed attention from across the Premier League, with many top-six fans stunned at how easily the Whites have secured a deal for such a highly-rated player.

Rodrigo is now set to undergo a medical ahead of a move to Elland Road.

Whilst personal terms are yet to be fully agreed, it is expected that these will be sorted in due course.

A deal for Rodrigo is sure to grab attention across the Premier League, with the 29-year-old having netted 59 La Liga goals in his six years at Valencia.

He had been linked with a move to Barcelona earlier this year but a fee could not be agreed between the two clubs.

Valencia's financial problems, however, has meant they were willing to do a deal as they look to overhaul their squad this summer.

The coronavirus pandemic has forced the Spanish side to put up all of their players for sale.

Rodrigo will be a huge boost to Marcelo Bielsa ahead of the start of the new Premier League season next month.

With the Whites keen to bolster their attack ahead of next season, Spanish international Rodrigo will go a long way towards doing so.
