More passengers have been arriving at East Midlands Airport, as this photo shows.
A photo from the airport's policing team has shown the queue for the Jet2 baggage drop-off on Thursday morning (July 1).
Officers said they were pleased to see more holidaymakers passing through.
In a Tweet, the East Midlands Airport Police said: "Great to see an increase in passenger numbers this morning.
"Our team patrol all land & airside areas across the @EMA_Airport estate seeking to ensure the safety of all who use & visit the airport.
"Always approachable, we are happy to hear your concerns or to just have a chat."
