James Crabtree at VoxPolitics announces an evening seminar on politics and weblogging later this month, to take place at the House of Commons. The panel includes Tom Watson, the weblogging MP I interviewed for my piece in this week's Online on the subject. Tom Coates has some interesting thoughts on the forum over on his weblog - he thinks the panel that's been lined up is a little lacking in grassroots representation. He writes: "What's completely missed are the potential implications of a massive group of people interacting with each other and with information and news in massively more active ways." But VoxPolitics might be right to go for baby steps early on. The questions Tom raises in his post, and will maybe voice at the event itself, might be a little unsettling for MPs still grappling with the impact of email on their lives...
