Fruit lovers will take delight in the replica of the mythical Himmapan Forest during the "Amazing Thai Fruit Paradise" fair at SookSiam zone of IconSiam until Tuesday.
Held in collaboration with the Department of Agricultural Extension and the Department of Community Development, the fruit festival puts the spotlight on top five popular Thai fruits that are hailed as heavenly fruits due to their taste and nutritional benefits -- durian, mangosteen, mango, pomelo and coconut.
The fruits are available for sale with very attractive promotions, alongside many other kinds of tropical fruits, including rambutan, papaya, jackfruit, watermelon, guava, lychee, orange, longan, dragon fruit and sala.
The festival has several zones featuring select premium-grade fruit from leading farms from across the country that are also available for wholesale.

Visitors will have a chance to sample the legendary and delicate taste of a mango menu created by highly experienced chefs and witness fruit carving narrating the story of the Himmapan Forest.
A number of red-fruit varieties that have health benefits are also being presented, including Tubtim Siam pomelo from Pak Phanang district of Nakhon Si Thammarat, R2E2 mango, Red Chakkraphat mango, Chakkrapat lychee, Tubtim-Chan rose apple and red dragon fruit.
Other highlights are innovative and processed fruits that have become mainstay souvenirs for tourists. There also are stage performances, live music and a fruit-eating contest on Saturday and Sunday.
