More A-listers join Ryan Gosling’s Star Wars movie

Production has commenced in the UK on Shawn Levy’s new standalone film, Star Wars: Starfighter.
The cast includes lead Ryan Gosling, joined by Flynn Gray, Matt Smith, Mia Goth, Aaron Pierre, Simon Bird, Jamael Westman, Daniel Ings, and Amy Adams.
Director Shawn Levy expressed profound excitement, stating that developing an original adventure in the Star Wars galaxy has been a 'dream come true'.
The film will offer an entirely original story set in a period of time never before explored within the Star Wars universe, departing from the Skywalker saga.
Star Wars: Starfighter is scheduled to premiere in cinemas on 28 May 2027.
