A 42-year-old man has died in hospital after a crash on the A46 involving a moped.
Police were a called to the crash on the A46 southbound near Flintham at around 8.50pm on Wednesday December 11.
The moped rider was taken to Queen's Medical Centre but later died of his injuries.
His family has been informed.
The incident is believed to have been a crash between the moped and one or more cars, police have confirmed.
The A46 has since reopened after being closed overnight.
Police are now appealing for witnesses.
Case Investigator Louise Melbourne, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “We’re working to understand the circumstances of this incident and I would like to encourage anyone who may have any dashcam footage to get in touch with us.”
