Moore’s Fish and Chip Shop in Castle Douglas named Scotland's top takeaway

A Castle Douglas chippy is enjoying the taste of success.

Moore’s Fish and Chip Shop was named Outstanding Takeaway of the Year at the first ever Scottish Takeaway Awards which were held in Glasgow on Tuesday. And there could be more success on the horizon for the shop.

Moore’s has been shortlisted in the best fish and chips establishment in the Food Awards Scotland with the winners announced later this month.
