
TSU -- A jumbo bovine statue is set in Tatsumizu Shrine in Mie Prefecture to welcome visitors in the Year of the Ox on the Chinese zodiac. About 30 local residents spent about one month making the 2-meter tall figure using polystyrene foam and other materials. The whole body is painted gold, and its eyes look upward in an appeal for a positive year in 2021. It was set in place in front of the torii gate.
