Monty Python legend Eric Idle was hit by an anthrax scare when a suspicious powder was delivered to his home.
Firefighters in biohazard suits raced to his Hollywood Hills villa after an employee found the powder in a letter and called 911.
Investigators initially treated it as an anthrax scare, but later declared there was no risk.
“There is no hazard to be concerned about,” said an officer on the scene. “There was no powder found by us.”

Anthrax mainly affects animals but its spores can cause fatal lung infections in humans.
Two women were taken to hospital as a precautionary measure on Monday but neither have displayed any symptoms, the fire department confirmed.

The letter was sent by a shipping agency regarding a delivery to Idle's Hollywood Hills home.
Idle, 76, shares his 5,200 sq ft Spanish villa, bought for £1.2 million 20 years ago, with his wife, ex-model Tania Kosevich.
Last October, Idle said he has no plans to revive Monty Python’s for this year's 50th anniversary of the show, describing the group's reunion in 2014 as their "goodbye".
